Fulltime roles in Design and Research for May 2025
You could say that I'm a design generalist, having worked across the full spectrum of design and research, executing seamlessly from ideation to delivery. My experience spans various models, including freelance, agency settings, startups, and big corporations.
While I possess a broad skill set, my specialized experience lies in Accessible Design, AR and VR design, service design, prototyping, UX/UI design, and design systems. I have been deeply involved in crafting pitches and developing new products, particularly in a startup environment.
I'm a hands-on creative partner, thriving in collaborative settings where I can prototype, iterate, and ask plenty of "why" questions to drive innovation. I am currently passionate about designing for emerging technologies and advancing Accessible Design.
My design journey has been profoundly shaped by my exposure to diverse cultures worldwide, allowing me to bring a rich, global perspective to every project I undertake. This multicultural influence helps me create more inclusive, empathetic, and impactful design solutions.

I'm building a gamified sign language learning platform for parents with deaf children, guided by Dr. Thad Starner. The system uses augmented reality on mobile phones to teach American Sign Language (ASL) in an engaging way. My goal is to accelerate the learning process and ultimately enable parents to narrate stories in ASL, using a progressive learning model that enhances both comprehension and communication.

I'm teaching a class on accessible design alongside Dr. Abigail Stangl, collaborating with Blind and Low-Vision (BLV) designers. The curriculum focuses on a mixed-ability design process, guiding students through design research to create bas-relief structures that adhere to accessible design principles. The goal is to help students gain hands-on experience in designing inclusively and understanding the diverse needs of all users.
